SECAC – Southeastern College Art Conference

This year the University of North Carolina at Greensboro will host the anual Southeastern College Art Conference. The call for papers was posted earlier this year (find it here!) and there is literally a session for everyone! We’ve had GMU students present papers at past SECAC conferences and it’s a great experience for MA students to share their research with other students and professionals. You’re allowed to submit up to two papers and the application deadline is April 20th, 2013 at midnight, giving everyone enough time to re-vamp those CVs. The actual conference will take place October 30th through November 2, 2013.

I’ll be submitting two papers, I’d love to hear if anyone else is planning to submit as well! Maybe we could organize an informal road trip? SECAC is a great opportunity to get experience speaking at a conference, and a great conference to add to your CV. I hope some of you will take advantage!
